Este plinto foi moldado a partir de pasta de papel, explorando as possibilidades escultóricas de um material leve e maleável. A sua superfície é marcada por formas geométricas reentrantes — retângulos em relevo negativo — que criam um ritmo visual e uma textura arquitetónica, quase brutalista. A repetição e o alinhamento preciso dessas formas conferem ao objeto uma presença sólida e gráfica, contrastando com a suavidade do material. O resultado é uma peça que combina sustentabilidade com expressão formal, transformando um recurso simples em suporte expositivo com identidade própria.
This plinth was sculpted from paper pulp, exploring the sculptural potential of a light and malleable material. Its surface is marked by recessed geometric shapes — negative-relief rectangles — that create a visual rhythm and architectural texture, almost brutalist in style. The repetition and precise alignment of these forms give the object a solid, graphic presence, contrasting with the softness of the material. The result is a piece that combines sustainability with formal expression, transforming a simple resource into a display support with a distinct identity.
