David, apresenta uma reinterpretação vibrante e disruptiva da icónica escultura de Michelangelo, fundindo o classicismo da Renascença com uma estética assumidamente pop e contemporânea. Ao substituir a cabeça da estátua por um volume geométrico revestido a azulejaria tradicional, a obra estabelece um diálogo intrigante entre a perfeição anatómica universal e a identidade cultural luso-mediterrânica. O uso do círculo vermelho central sobre um fundo amarelo reticulado — que remete para a técnica de halftone da banda desenhada e da pop art — confere à composição um dinamismo gráfico intenso, enquanto o selo de "Parental Advisory" introduz uma nota de ironia e crítica social. Este detalhe sublinha o paradoxo moderno de se rotular o nu artístico clássico como conteúdo explícito, desafiando o observador a refletir sobre a censura, a herança histórica e a desconstrução do cânone da beleza.
